CREATIVE CLASH

Modern Day Me (@moderndayme) and Downtown Minneapolis (@mplsdowntown) recently collaborated to bring you art on Nicollet Mall! Each week throughout the summer, Downtown Council activates Minneapolis’ central corridor during their ‘Downtown Thursdays’ series. 

MDM curated a group of artists to face off in a creative clash where they were given 20 minutes to create a piece of art that would be judged by a group of panelists, as well as public audience members. Each winner would advance to the final round, where they would compete head-to-head for a grand prize.

Our city is filled with artists and it’s fun to be able to put our artistic abilities to the test in a creative and interactive environment.
